As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I have had the privilege of working with incredible new parents as they start their feeding journeys. One of my strongest beliefs is that fed is best. There is far too much pressure on parents to do everything “the one right way,” and I believe that what is right is prioritizing the parents’ physical and mental health, as well as the baby’s health.

In the first few days after having your baby, oftentimes a lot of questions regarding feeding come up. Things are hazy during these days, and I aim to be there to help you find your clarity and confidence in feeding your baby.

In a session with me, we may discuss your feeding goals, assess a feed, work on latching/positions, address milk supply concerns, bottle feed, and introduce formula. There is plenty to focus on - my goal is to help guide you to what your priorities are, and problem-solve together.

I also offer prenatal/expectant feeding appointments. This is an opportunity to prepare for what’s ahead before your baby arrives! In these sessions we may talk through different potential feeding challenges and positions, prepare for pumping/bottle feeding, and spend time on any other feeding questions you may have. 

Rate: $160 for a one hour session*

Travel Fee: $40 per visit. Travel Fee applies to home visits that are over a 45 minute drive from Portland

Unfortunately, my sessions are not covered by insurance at this time.
